Privacy Policy for My Screen Time Pet Last updated: 8/6/2026 The short version My Screen Time Pet does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server. Everything the app knows about you stays on your phone. There is no account, no login, no analytics, and no advertising. If you uninstall the app, that data is gone. — What the app can see To do its job, My Screen Time Pet needs to know which app is currently open on your screen. It uses Android’s Accessibility Service to detect this. What it reads: the package name of the app in the foreground — for example, com.instagram.android. What it does not read: the contents of your screen, what you type, your messages, your photos, your passwords, or anything inside any other app. The service is configured with screen content retrieval switched off, so this is enforced by Android and not merely a promise. The app also records how long each app is open, so it can show you your daily screen time. — Where that information is stored All of it is stored locally on your device, in private app storage that other apps cannot read. Specifically: Daily usage totals per app, kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically Your chosen daily screen time limit Which apps you have chosen to track Your tasks and schedule Your pet’s name, appearance, health, hearts, and items Your app settings None of this is uploaded anywhere. The app has no server, and the developer has no way to see it. — Network access My Screen Time Pet does not require an internet connection and does not transmit your data over the network. — Backups If you have Android’s built-in backup enabled, Android may include this app’s data in your device backup to your Google account. This is a Google service, governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, and it is used so that your pet and progress survive if you change phones. You can turn this off in your device’s backup settings. — Permissions and why they are needed Accessibility Service — detects which app is in the foreground so your pet knows when you have opened a tracked app. Reads the app’s name only. Notifications — sends reminders about your tasks and warnings when you are close to or over your screen time limit. Display over other apps — shows the time remaining and warning messages on top of other apps. It draws its own messages only; it cannot see or read what is underneath. Battery optimisation exemption — prevents Android from closing the app in the background, which would silently stop tracking. Vibration — provides haptic feedback when you tap things. All permissions can be revoked at any time in your device settings. The app will tell you what has stopped working if you do. — Children This app is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect any information from them. Since no information is collected or transmitted at all, no data from any user of any age leaves the device. — Your control over your data You can delete everything the app has stored at any time: Settings → Reset all data inside the app, or Uninstalling the app, or Android’s Settings → Apps → My Screen Time Pet → Storage → Clear data There is no data held elsewhere to request, correct, or delete, because none is sent anywhere. — Changes to this policy If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the date at the top will be revised. If a future version of the app collects anything that leaves your device, that change will be described here before it takes effect. — Contact Questions about this policy or the app: DeveloperLazar@gmail.com — My Screen Time Pet is developed by LakiDEV.
